A CURIOUS TEEPEE'S POW WOW SESSION 002:
WORKSHOP EDITION WITH AIWEI FOO (SEE YOU TOMORROW)
A series of talks, ACT's Pow Wow Sessions are an opportunity to share ideas on a range of topics that help us live curiously. Informal and inspiring, besides being a mid-week social, we hope these conversations can be a catalyst for future creative calls to action.
First up on the Pow Wow hit list was acclaimed photographer and visual artist, John Clang. He shared and talked about a selection of his current artwork, together with some of his earlier works dating back as far as 20 years ago.
For our second installment, POW WOW 002 get hands on and runs as an intimate workshop, conducted by the multi-disciplinary Aiwei Foo, aka See You Tomorrow. Focusing on colour composition, shapes formation and prints juxtaposition, where anything goes. Explore and have fun with the different potentially of clashing elements and colours, turning design hazards into design aesthetics based on your individual ideas and hands, working with the materials provided. There are no strict rules on the design process, but you will be guided through some demonstrations, eventually producing little creations you can call your own, like pins, hairbands, handkerchief etc.
The workshop is chargeable at $25 in total ($10 for materials, $15 redeemable for food and drinks)
